Engine compartment gets a good cleaning and sanding
After some fiberglass repairs, priming and painting, the engine compartment looks nice and fresh again.
The underside also looks much better after being primed and painted.
  Front suspension has been reinstalled
Front body is being reset so everything is square. Whenever the accident happened sometime in it's past life, the left fender end was just glassed back on without any thought to keeping the front square.
Now that we have the nose squared, we can concentrate on getting the body solid
Front end has nice lines now to the hood.
Work is progressing on the right side.
Jambs and interior portions are being stripped.
Convertible top frame has a broken rivet.
After many hours of block sanding, the primer is applied.
The primer sealer goes on next.
Inside and out, this body is sealed.
A liberal dosage of Roman Red base coat is applied followed by clear coat.
The trunk also has also received the red treatment.
Fitment and alignment of the bolt on panels begins. Here we have the hood installed.
The left door is aligned and installed.
After a final block sanding, we are ready for painting!
