It is soon to be transformed into a LS1 fuel injected, Corvette IRS suspended, rack and pinion street rod.   The modified subframe now has Global West upper and lower control arms with spindles. Relocated 1.25" sway bar, QA-1 adjustable coil overs and rack and pinion power steering. The 966 mile LS1 motor now painted in Mercedes Silver for a beautiful contrast    Here is the subframe as removed from our Firebird. Now the subframe has had all of its welds smoothed and then painted in a 3 stage Orange    Here is the subframe just prior to installation.    The LS1 and transmission are on their way in.    Guiding the engine/trans assembly into it's new home.
