wheels in Front wheels were installed. Nice fit in the front. We will  have to roll the wheel opening edge some to leave a margin for error to prevent tire contact. The rear wheels did not fare so well. We will have to roll the quarter edges and possibly install a small spacer in between the wheel and brake hub. This is not an uncommon occurence when there are so many modifications done to a car.  For every action, there is a reaction.

rear wheel install We installed the customer provided 17" wheels and immediately ran into fitment problems. The tire was rubbing on the frame rail. Since the customer did not want to wait 3 months for a new set of rear wheels, we opted to do some modification tricks to alleviate the problem safely. First we, replaced the lug studs with longer units so we could install a billet spacer.
roller Here is how you roll your wheel opening edge to make additional clearance for your tires. This made our tire/wheel combo fit perfectly. Having the right tools makes the job go easier.
