After installing the dash, the luminescent lights refused to work. We checked the oscillator but it was fine. We replaced the headlamp switch as it would light up the dash when it was in a particular spot with the rheostat but would change without warning. Upon replacement of the headlamp switch, we could not get the lamps back on. We finally found a thin ground wire in the cluster by the Oil Pressure gauge to not be grounding. These lighting systems are like the old Christmas lights, one goes out, they ALL go out! They are working now and are quite impressive!
We were having horn operation issues, this is the culprit. The chrome horn ring attaches in between the plates of this part located behind the center of the steering wheel.
The rear wheelhouses have been undercoated to look right and to protect against chipping from the rocks kicked up.
The trunk lid had a problem keeping it up. Unfortunately, there is not an automotive equivalent to Viagra. We removed the torsion bars and found them to be tweaked. We obtained another set, installed them and adjusted them. Now the lid pops open as it should and stays up.
