What's Your Dream Car?

Shelby Cobra GT-500 Convertible? We just finished restoring one. '70 Ram-Air IV Trans-Am? We've done two. Some of the rarest and most desirable collector cars in the world have been entrusted to Melvin Benzaquen and the Classic Restorations team in Pine Island, NY.

NEWS! The Shelby is now Black Jade. See the pictures here.

Perhaps your dream car has never been built. How about a one-of-kind custom rod? From mild to wild, we’ll custom design and build from scratch the hot rod you always wanted. We’ll even assemble your favorite kit car, customized to your liking.

Conversions and drivetrain modifications are no challenge to our expert technicians, and we'd be happy to discuss dropping that new crate motor into your prized possession. Installing late model, fuel injected engines with overdrive transmissions is becoming more and more popular to enhance the driveability and reliability of your classic car. Upgraded suspensions, brakes and steering are also popular. No job is too small or large for us.

We offer free nationwide pickup and delivery on full restorations. We also photo document and itemize all work performed. A photo CD will be furnished to you upon completion of your restoration. Daily emailed photos are also provided to keep you in touch with your restoration progress.

Of course, we're also a New York State licensed auto dealer. So if you haven't found your dream car yet, you are welcome to contact us about our inventory of vehicles, vintage to muscle, waiting to be restored to your personal specifications.

We took an otherwise stock 1999 Trans Am Firehawk and fitted it with a Vortech supercharger and Yank torque converter in our shop. With only these two modifications, this completely street-legal beast recently clocked 11.63, and drove home on the same tires. Want the details? You can read about it here, or in the April and June 2001, and January 2002 issues of High Performance Pontiac.

1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

One of the New York Port Authority Police Officers that survived the September 11, 2001 collapse of Tower Two owns this car. Unfortunately, he thought he was buying a restored car. This car was an accident waiting to happen.

We restored this car with the help of many aftermarket suppliers and with the backing of SEMA and ARMO. We donated our labor and many parts on this project...
