This purple big block Corvette appears at our door step the apparent victim of bad taste and worse driving.
As Emeril Lagasse would say, "BAM"!
The replacement convertible manual transmission chassis in prime. The original one was far too wasted.

Holy Sunkist, Batman, it's orange!

The color is a three-stage (base-tint-clear) DuPont mix chosen to evoke, but update, the Monaco Orange of that model year.

It also has a quality similar to 1973 Corvette Orange.


Here she sits with suspension and wheels attached.

She's now completely plumbed with brake and fuel lines.
Powertrain Deluxe
Presenting the big block beast! A Keisler 5 speed manual transmission with a stump-pulling 3.27:1 1st gear ratio is about to be bolted up to the 500+ lb. ft. torque monster.

It's painted a deep metallic Mercedes silver for just a little more contrast once set in the chassis.
